A fabulous complete house in the heart of Salcombe. The cottage is perfect to share with family and friends for a wonderful holiday. A skip to the centre of Salcombe, our three-story fisherman's cottage has been tastefully modernised with an open plan downstairs, four bedrooms (the master bedroom is massively spacious and en-suite) and a very large family bathroom with separate shower. To the rear there is a courtyard leading to the terrace which provides breath-taking views of the Salcombe estuary and has BBQ equipment and seating.
23 Courtenay Street is located very near the town centre, about 50 yards from the waterfront and Fore Street. It is about 100 yards to either of the nearest pubs and less to the restaurants. This has been our family cottage for over 50 years, it has been tastefully modernised and upgraded, having a wonderful warmth and welcoming feel.
About 50 yards up further along Courtenay Street is the play-park, offering a fabulous range of recently installed equipment to entertain younger children.
Salcombe is just over an hour from M5 Exeter, making this easily accessible by car. Long-term parking is available within the town carparks or on the street if you’re lucky (some areas are permit controlled). Short-term parking is available however is always pot-luck. The nearest train station is Totnes, from where you can arrange onward travel by taxi to Salcombe.
There are several grocery shops in the town to purchase your day to day essentials. The bakery, butchers, fishmongers and other specialist shops and restaurants / cafes give you a wealth of options.
